After trekking the mountains of the Himalayas, most of the adventurers ask for more in the upcoming adventure. To those who are asking for more, we have answers for them. The next adventure they should look forward to after trekking in the Himalayas is Peak climbing. It is a perfect type of adventure for trekkers who have just recently completed the multiday trekking, especially (base camp treks). Now talking about Peak climbing, you may be wondering what kind of adventure is it and where can it be done. Well, Peak climbing is a kind of climbing adventure that is done to scale the peak in a certain amount of days. Doing this will give adventurers a sense of achievement, which will motivate them to face new adventures and possibly step into the world of mountaineering.
As we now know about peak climbing, it's time to know where can it be done. At this point, you must have completed a couple of treks in the Himalayas, especially one in the Everest region. And while trekking in the Everest region, you must have seen different kinds of mountains and peaks. Among those different peaks and mountains, you will find difficulty and altitude levels in it. Further, if you have to research by yourself, you will mostly find 6000, 7000 meters peaks in this region. And Yes, for peak climbing adventure, 6-7 thousand meters peaks are best. For beginners, peaks with 6000 meter altitude are the perfect ones.
Now as you search, you will find a couple of climbing peaks, but here in particular, we will talk about Lobuche Peak. Lobuche Peak is one of the prominent peaks in the Everest region which is quite famous for climbing. Towering at an altitude of 6119 meters, it is one of the easiest peaks to climb in the region. The Lobuche peak is located right above the Lobuche settlement and Khumbu Glacier and is composed of two faces: Lobuche East (6119m) and Lobuche West (6145m).
Unlike any other high-altitude climbing, Lobuche peak climbing doesn't need a lot of technical climbing knowledge or skills. That's why it is categorized as a trekking peak. To finish it without hesitation, all you need is a strong body, endurance, and mental fortitude. Therefore considering those things, we highly suggest this climbing to those who are just starting and wish to try their hand at mountaineering.
