Trek Ways Nepal - Top Shelf Trekking Company

No need to look any further for a trekking company in Nepal. In my view, Tika is a one-stop shop. He and his staff will ensure everything is covered in all aspects of your trip. I have trekked with Tika in 2016 Everest Base Camp, 2018 Annapurna Base Camp and most recently in 2023 EBC again. I am planning another trip with a group in the Fall of 2025. Life changing…. That is how I characterize Nepal. Tika Regmi, his guides and porters are the very best. They plan all aspects and the only thing they don’t control is the weather, but fortunately, I have been very lucky on my trips. Please give them a call, text or email as you will quickly know why I am recommending them! You will find that Nepal is a surprisingly affordable place to travel and the people are so welcoming. The culture, religions, and history is the richest I have ever experienced!

My Memorable trek of Mera peak

My last trek to Mera Peak, with Trek Ways Nepal, is the most memorable and entertaining treks to the date. Thanks to Trek Ways Nepal Team including Tika Regmi and Dawa Sherpa, who made our journey smooth and safe while providing excellent company during my stay in Nepal.
From scenic landscapes, and lush forests to high rugged Himalayas, the journey was astonishing, and the Himalayan community left me with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The sights were majestic, and the services from the company were excellent. Our Shera was really experienced and top level guide who encouraged us to the summit. Mera Peak climbing is technically not hard but really demanding. Views were amazing from the top. We climbed straight from Khare to High Camp and next early morning we climbed to the summit and returned to Khare. Trek Ways Nepal helped us and arranged helicopter return to Lukla and to Kathmandu smoothly. There is no where we thought we would have better service. Many people were waiting for the helicopter ride due to the bad weather. Some of them were talking that they were trying to get helicopter since 3 days but we got lucky to choose Trek Ways Nepal who arranged smoothly. I sincerely recommend this company to anyone who wants to seek thrilling adventure to the lap of the Himalayas with an assurance of no regret.

Experience of a lifetime with Trek Ways Nepal

I was recently part of a small group of five who travelled from the UK to undertake the Everest Base Camp trek with Trek Ways Nepal. Overall, I would say the support we had from Tika and his team was outstanding. Tika Regmi and our guide, Pramod, struck exactly the right balance of having a plan, but knowing when to adapt and be flexible to meet our needs. They made the trip safe, rewarding and enjoyable and we were all able to achieve the goals we set ourselves. Tika’s focus on customer service was exceptional; its obvious that he genuinely cares about his clients. I would have no hesitation in recommending Trek Ways Nepal to anyone who wants to tackle this life-affirming challenge.

The trip of a lifetime to Everest Base Camp with Trek Ways Nepal

We were met from the airport, driven directly to our hotel and then given a detailed brief over tea of exactly what to expect on the Everest Base Camp trek. Tika Regmi answered every question we had perfectly, nothing was too much trouble, and he even arranged for a ‘safe’ money changer to visit us and sort out our currency. He made some brilliant arrangements to get us up into the mountains and kept in touch throughout our trek. His excellent guide, Pramod, made sure that every day ran smoothly, we were well cared for, our porters were well looked after and we had everything we needed. To reach Everest Base camp was the realization of a dream, and we could not have asked for better support, better food, better information or a better company to be trekking with. Even when the weather threatened to delay our return, Tika and Pramod found a way to get us out of the hills, safe back into Kathmandu and then lay on a cultural city tour for us. Trek Ways Nepal were the perfect team to work with and made it the trip of a lifetime.

Incredible April/May trip to Everest Base Camp

I had the most incredible time going to Everest Base Camp Trek with Trek Ways Nepal. I decided to go by myself but I was lucky to be with an amazing group of people, thank you Tika Regmi for organizing such an amazing trip, Pramod our guide made the trip so fun, he taught us new card games, and had brilliant knowledge that we were so lucky to have been taught, and every night we stayed in really great accommodation with some brilliant views, especially in Namche! Being the only female in the group Primod took the effort to find me a room for myself most nights which was really thoughtful, i’m sure that must’ve taken some strings to pull with how busy it gets!! Every day of the trek the views were magical it was a trip that will stay with me forever I highly recommend Trek Ways Nepal, we all felt we were in great hands and really taken care of so thank you so much. Extra thank you to Anjan Sabin and Santos for your incredible hard work throughout the whole trek.

My entire experience on Everest Base Camp Trek

I can't say enough about my latest trip to Nepal and Everest Base Camp Trek through Tika and Trek Ways Nepal! I had planned this for years and Tika has been patient with me from the very beginning. He was able to answer any and all of my questions leading up to the very day of travel from the USA. He suggested an amazing and convenient hotel and was there to greet us the moment we pulled into the lobby. He then explained how everything was going to happen and was also able to secure my friend and I a helicopter ride from Kathmandu to Lukla since the recent weather was bad and there was a long queue for flights. This also saved us a 5 hour bus ride and did not delay our planned trek starting date. He provided our guide's name and Padam along with our Porter, Bijaya were the first one to greet us on the Lukla helipad to wisk us away and straight to breakfast. Padam then explained to us what we can expect on our first full day on the trail. This kind if communication happened each and every day of the EBC 12 day trek and kept us well informed and ready to tackle each day while also keeping the "mission" and our health his priority. Everyday was completely different and some were harder than others, but I always felt safe and well informed. If I ever had a question Padam answered the question completely and with amazing detail. He knows the trek intimately from each incline, decline, bend and mountain height. He would take his time to explain facts about the mountains and each area we trekked through. Every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was delicious and the portions were more than enough to get you through each section of the trek. The accommodations were very adequate and pretty much what I had expected and read about. My friend had some altitude sickness and Padam was quick to address him and ultimately treat him so that he could continue the trek. The weather was brisk and then cold, but mostly clear the entire way to EBC which provided spectacular views. We successfully arrived EBC and completed our Mission. I honestly can't say enough about Trek Ways Nepal and the experience they were able to provide. This has been a dream of mine for many many years and they did everything possible to make my dream become a reality. Bravo to Tika, Padam, Bijaya and the entire Trek Ways Team!! A couple tips.....earplugs are a must! While the rooms are nice the walls and thin and you can hear a lot since there is no noise pollution. Card games help pass the time at night. Bring extra batteries for your camera and a power block for other devices. When you gain altitude the charging options are limited, but the tea houses do provided charging for a small fee. After a certain altitude the saying goes, "no power no shower." This will last for about 5-6 days ;-) Also, if you forget something there are shops all over Kathmandu to pick up and last minute items at a reasonable price. Make sure you bring Rupees on the trek to purchase extra water, wifi cards, charging, etc.

The Best Experience on my Trek to Everest Base Camp with Trek Ways Nepal

Trek Ways, its boss Tika, our guide Pramod and the rest of the team that accompanied our 15-member group through all the stages of our stay in Nepal were simply fantastic. They all offered us their best services and were at our entire disposal 24/7. From getting to know the wonders and intricacies of Kathmandu to the challenging yet doable, marvellous and unforgettable experience of trekking all the way to Everest Base Camp, Trek Ways really did a great job and by far met our large and varied group’s multiple expectations. A perfect combination of know-how, efficiency, approachability and kindness made us enjoy a fully safe and mind-blowing trip of a lifetime. To top it all, prices were incredibly cheap compared to what other travelling agencies (both European and Nepalese) we looked into had to offer. In group or individually, I’m sure we’ll all be back sooner or later… ETERNALLY GRATEFUL, GUYS! 🙏🏽💆🏼‍♂️❤️

Professional and attentive

My wife and I did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in Oct 2023 with Trek Ways Nepal Pvt. Ltd and then used them again for the Kathmandu Valley Rim Trail Trek in November. Tika Regmi was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to pre-trek questions and my many last minute itinerary revisions. We had the best tea house along the trek. The meals were great, especially the fruit they provided us was so nice as other trekkers were asking us if we were VIP. Our guides knew the routes well and, more importantly, were fun to hang out with. A very attentive and professional team made our trekking holiday very special. Thank you, Tika and Chandan Jirel (My guide) for your help. I would definitely use them again.

Simply Excellent. Gokyo lake & Bardia National Park

can’t thank you enough Tika - Trek Ways Nepal for putting together our itinerary package to Gokyo Lakes & Bardia National Park. My partner & I had the best time. Given it was just the two of us we had the flexibility to change the itinerary - it was more personal than going in a big group. Our Mountain Guide Pramodh who is very knowledgeable and Porter Pedam with his friendly smile - very strong, nothing was ever too hard for him, and we were looked after so well. Both kept checking to ensure we had everything we needed, our oxygen levels checked, that we’d eaten enough & how we felt. Pramodh and/or Pedam would get our thermos filled with boiling water and put in our food orders. Thank you to Pedam for organizing the bowl of boiling water to help clear my cold at Gokyo Lakes. I found the trek challenging at times, a big thanks to Pramodh who offered to carry my backpack which I greatly appreciated. We couldn't have done this trek without Pramodh & Pedam! The Teahouse at Gokyo Lakes had frozen water pipes in toilets, showers,s etc however a bucket of hot water could be purchased for a wash - the thermos was a great tip to thaw the frozen drinking bottle in the mornings. Thank you to Pramodh for teaching us the Nepalese Dhumbal card game we played it most nights. My favorite tea house was at Dole “View Point” - lovely hosts, warm, comfortable, and served the best food. The Teahouse at Mong La where we had lunch served fresh vegetables straight from the garden & the view was spectacular! We were so glad we went to Gokyo Lakes and took out EBC - the track is a lot less crowded and the views from Gokyo Ri are spectacular! Bardia National Park was an amazing experience walking through the jungle with wild elephants & other animals nearby. Spending 4 days was perfect - with 2 jungle walks & 2 jeep rides. The accommodation package you chose for us “Bardiya Forest Resort '' was excellent!! Jal, our host & jungle guide, made us very welcome, he was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the animals, Tiger footprints, and how fresh they were he showed us the drag marks of where they’d killed a deer & dragged it into the long grass to eat. Kamal, our jeep driver always with a smile, wanted to find the Tiger to make us happy! We saw a Tiger - he was massive! The Rhino was in the long grass eating. A wild elephant was wandering in the forest. Monkeys in trees everywhere. Lots of birds - woodpeckers had to be my favorite. Family of Otters swimming in the river. The cook at Bardiya Forest Resort whipped up delicious meals - he kept us well-fed! We’d been to Chitwan National Park 10 years ago, however, I would highly recommend to others to visit Bardia and stay at the Bardiya Forest Resort. You will have an awesome time with Jal as your host & guide along with Kamal as your Jeep driver! Finally, thank you again Tika for all those special added touches and for making my special occasion a memorable one, and a holiday experience I will remember forever! We’ll be in touch soon to arrange the next trek - perhaps Upper Mustang.

simply the best experience

This is the 2nd time we've used Tika's services for our Nepal Holiday, and we had just the best time. Not only was everything so well organised and planned, both for our mountain trek and our visit to Bardiya National Park. Our guides were so well experienced, having such a love and passion for what they do and, more than willing to share that with us, making our trip that much more personal and memorable. Our mountain guide, Pramodh, and our porter, Pedam, looked after us so well on the trek, ensuring we had everything we needed, especially as we got higher into the mountains, seeing Everest from the top of Gokyo Ri was just one of the many highlights that we shared. After leaving the mountains, we went to the Terai and spent 5 days at Bardiya exploring that vast national park, and once again, we had a truly fantastic experience. Our forest guide, Jal, and driver, Kamal, shared their knowledge, love, and passion they have for the animals and the forest making our time there a very personal and wonderful experience. As a keen birder and wildlife photographer, being close to so many animals and seeing so many new birds was indeed an experience that will be remembered for a long time to come. All through our trip, Tika kept in constant touch and communicated so well, that nothing was a problem even as some of our plans changed Thank you, Tika, for such a well-organized, and rewarding trip, we leave Nepal with so many cherished memories.

Trek Ways Nepal is the best company

My daughter and I booked our Everest Base Camp with Gokyo Lake & Cho La Pass adventure with Tika. He went above and beyond to make sure we understood all aspects of our trek so we were confident and happy. Tika is very knowledgeable, reliable, and organized and always responds to all messages, calls, and emails ASAP. We highly recommend Tika and his company Trek Ways Nepal to plan your next amazing adventure! You won't go wrong if you choose this company. It was not only a trek for us but also a lifetime experience. We had enough time to interact with locals. The best thing this company does is to encourage you to do an evening acclimatization hike. Other trekkers started using their phones after the day trek in the lodge while we went for for walk (climb high sleep low). That was so nice. The hotel picked up was the best one. Our guide never pushed us as we wanted to enjoy the scenery. It was the perfect experience for us and we did it without a single medication. What you need to do is to listen to your guide and walk slowly. I can't wait to return and do another trek with these guys.

Dream Come True

I traveled with my 21-year-old son. I've been dreaming about the EBC trek trip for many years and I had lots of anxiety built up. I started talking with Tika months before the trip. I had tons of questions and additional requirements. Tika was not only super quick with his responses, but also he was very helpful and caring. We've exchanged so many emails that I felt he became a close friend of mine. Words cannot describe the excitement we felt when we arrived in Kathmandu. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness, warmth, and hospitality not only of Tika and Trek Ways Nepal but of all Nepalese people. As I already mentioned, before the trip, I was anxious, BUT the moment we started the trek I instantly knew - we'd be fine. I felt we were in very good hands. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the mountain, the history along the trek, and everything around it. I will never forget his advice about how to prevent altitude sickness - stay hydrated just enjoy the trek and be happy. We followed his words and we didn't have any altitude problems or any other problems. I have to admit - we cried tears of joy with my son when we reached Everest Base camp and then the top of Kala Patthar - watching the sunrise over Everest and Trek Ways Nepal was with us every step of the way. I have never expected to have such a smooth trip and I will always keep the memories of it deep in my heart. I wish Tika and Trek Ways Nepal to be very successful and to make dreams come true for all of their clients the way they did for us!!!

Amazing trek to Everest base camp

I did the Everest base camp trek with Tika and his company Trek Ways Nepal with a friend. At first, we were considering doing the trek ourselves, but we’re extremely glad we decided against it. Tika was great and his guide helped us navigate a big storm and got us through some paths that we likely would not have figured out ourselves ie walking over frozen lakes and through glacial melt. He also gave us a good understanding of Nepali customs, traditions, and food so we were able to experience aspects of Nepal that we wouldn’t likely have known to look for otherwise. I would love to go back and do another trek with Tika, perhaps Annapurna.

Absolutely fantastic treks

I have trekked in Nepal 5 times in recent years and have had Tika organise all these adventures. I have trekked with teenagers, family and friends, and each trip has been super organised and wonderful. Because Tika and his company are local, they have invaluable insight into how everything works in Nepal. Getting the required trekking permits, organising knowledgeable local guides and porters, arranging transport etc are things he excels at. Whilst on the treks, the guides even help in tea house kitchens to ensure our food is delicious. While on our treks, if things have had to change because of weather etc, there is always a back up plan, with safety a priority. I can’t recommend Tika more highly- his treks are fantastic! Tika is very proud of his country and he really wants you to have a wonderful experience, whilst respecting the environment and the people in it.

Best Company and friendly guide

I went to Nepal for my dearest trip to Everest Base Camp. I got in contact with Tika Regmi from Trek Ways Nepal to whom I had my positing feelings when I got his first response. He answered all my questions before my flight to Kathmandu. His guide Mr. Prakash picked me up from the airport with nice welcome flowers. That was truly special. I was treated like a kind. I met Tika at the hotel where he explained to me briefly. I had a few questions but he covered all. He then checked my all trekking gear. We flew to Lukla and started the trek. My porter Rabin was just amazing, very strong and always smiling. We had an amazing time together. The lodges were nice and the meals were just above my expectations. I made it to the base camp and Kalapatther just because of my guide and Sherpa. I would not have made it without them. The hike is not easy but once you reach to base camp you feel like you won the war. All in all, I had amazing people with me and got brilliant services. Thank you, Tika for your arrangements. I am sure I will use your services next year for another adventure.

I have been traveling to Nepal for 43 years and by far, Tika Prasad Regmi and his associates are the most knowledgeable, professional

I have been traveling to Nepal for 43 years and by far, Tika Prasad Regmi and his associates are the most knowledgeable, professional and courteous hosts for all my touring and trekking needs. His excellent advice served me well for reaching Everest Base Camp, as recently as October 2023, healthy, with no altitude sickness and with no medication. His dietary advice was also critical for staying healthy and strong throughout my October 2023 trek. His care, from arriving in Kathmandu, to site seeing (Menuka Simkhada was our tour guide for the city), to arranging travel logistics, is second to none. Due to his friendliness and hospitality, I consider him a lifelong friend and would trust him and his company (Trek Ways Nepal) completely for any future trips to the Himalayas.

Tika Regmi a Director of Trek ways Nepal is an incredible man who carefully arranged for my trekking holiday

Tika Regmi a Director of Trek ways Nepal is an incredible man who carefully arranged for my trekking holiday to Annapurna Circuit! He made sure everything was in place and things ran smoothly. He was well organized, and I was able to answer all questions I had before booking. My guide Pramodh was very experience in the culture of Nepal and looked after me very well. I had no single issue along the way and things went smoothly. From the arrival to the departure I was taking care by Trek Ways Nepal. Hotel in Kathmandu and lodges on the trek was very clean and better than in expected to be honest. Meals on the trek was delicious. I had Dal Bhat most of the time and it says Dal Bhat Power 24 Hour. After dinner I got fresh fruit platter and other trekkers were watching me. Some of them asked if they have in their menu. But it was Trek Ways Nepal who provided it. I would give Tika, Pramodh and Trek Ways Nepal a 10 out of 10 and would definitely use him again!
