The Surya Chaur to Kakani hike is a beautiful and scenic trekking route located in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. This hike takes you through lush green forests, terraced fields, and small villages, providing breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain ranges, including Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Gaurishankar.

If you're planning this adventure, consider working with a tour company that can help you with all the necessary arrangements for a smooth and enjoyable experience.

The hike starts from Surya Chaur, which is a small village located about 20 kilometers away from Kathmandu. From there, the trail goes through dense forests of oak, rhododendron, and pine, offering a peaceful and refreshing environment. Along the way, you will pass by several small villages where you can witness the daily lifestyle of local people and interact with them.

After trekking for about 6-7 hours, you will reach the beautiful hill station of Kakani, which is known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas.
