The process of Honey Hunting
The honey hunting process begins before guests arrive, as the local community prepares handmade ladders from fresh wood and strong ropes for safety. Enough firewood is gathered, and an experienced honey hunter descends first, using smoke to gently drive the bees away from the hive. The honeycomb is then carefully cut, placed into a container, and safely lowered to the ground. Depending on safety conditions, guests may have the opportunity to participate under expert supervision. Everyone then shares the freshly harvested wild honey together. Honey hunting is usually held on Fridays and Sundays, with the best seasons being November–December and April.
