Menuka Simkhada is the Executive Director of Trek Ways Nepal P. Ltd., bringing strong leadership, hands-on experience, and heartfelt hospitality to the company. Born and raised in the Gorkha district, she spent her early years in a village environment where she developed resilience, discipline, and a deep appreciation for Nepal’s culture and natural beauty.

Menuka completed her early education in her hometown before moving to Kathmandu to pursue higher studies. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics, building a solid academic foundation in management and decision-making. During this time, her family arranged her marriage, marking a significant transition in her personal life. Despite the new responsibilities that came with marriage, Menuka remained committed to her education and personal growth. Her determination was further demonstrated when she successfully completed her Master’s degree while also embracing motherhood, becoming a proud mother to a wonderful son. Balancing family, studies, and ambition reflects her strong character and perseverance.

Inspired by her husband and driven by her love for travel, Menuka developed a strong desire to work directly in the tourism industry. She aspired to become a professional tourist guide and took the Government of Nepal–certified Tourist Guide Training. Her dedication and hard work earned her an A-grade tourist guide license, allowing her to begin her career as a licensed guide.

Menuka spent over six years guiding travelers across Nepal, gaining first-hand experience in trekking, cultural tours, and guest services. During this period, she built a deep understanding of traveler expectations, destination management, and responsible tourism. Her warm personality, knowledge, and professionalism made her a favorite among guests from around the world.

With her extensive guiding experience and leadership abilities, Menuka progressed into a managerial role and eventually became the Executive Director of Trek Ways Nepal P. Ltd. Today, she oversees company administration, guest relations, and daily operations. She personally handles email communications and phone inquiries, ensuring that each guest receives timely, friendly, and reliable support. Her direct involvement reflects Trek Ways Nepal’s commitment to personalized service.

Menuka is passionate about traveling and photography, often capturing moments that reflect Nepal’s beauty and culture. She is delighted to welcome travelers to Nepal and looks forward to helping them create meaningful and unforgettable experiences with Trek Ways Nepal.
