Then continue towards the pass. O the way there are 2 huts. One on the way to half and other one is on the top. Due to the wind we need to cross the Thorang top before 10am. Our role to avoid the altitude sickness
During the Annapurna Circuit Trek, Trek Ways Nepal takes strong measures to prevent altitude sickness. We follow a gradual ascent with proper acclimatization days, especially in Manang. Our experienced guides closely monitor trekkers’ health and provide timely advice and support. We recommend staying hydrated, avoiding alcohol and caffeine, and eating a high-carbohydrate diet. Trekkers are also educated to recognize early symptoms and report discomfort immediately, ensuring a safe and enjoyable high-altitude trekking experience in Nepal.
Climb High Sleep Low
During the Annapurna Circuit Trek, Trek Ways Nepal follows the important “climb high, sleep low” principle to support safe acclimatization. This method involves trekking to a higher altitude during the day and returning to a lower elevation for overnight stay, helping your body adjust to reduced oxygen levels. Our guides also lead short acclimatization hikes above the lodge before descending back. This careful approach greatly reduces altitude sickness risk and ensures a safer, healthier, and more enjoyable trekking experience in Nepal.
