Chetan Basnet was born and grew up in the Salleri which lies in the Solukhumbu District of Nepal. Some of Everest region trek begins from Salleri. He started his career as a Porter based from Lukla. After 2 years of his career he took government trekking guide training and he got straight A Grade (Top grade) license. Beside this he has taken several skilled development trainings, first aid, AMS and leadership training. He loves singing and. Dancing. He always smiles and keep his eye on to the clients. His English is verry good with local knowledge and he is very experienced guide. He knows every trekking route in Nepal. He is well known guide in the region. During the off season he loves to learn things so he can deliver the same to his clients. 

He is very honest gentleman. He has team leading capacity which he has proved it. Beside English he speaks Hindi fluently.  He is always ready to guide you in the Nepal Himalayas.
