Itinerary

Welcome to Nepal! Your adventure begins today once you land in Kathmandu airport. Our representative is ready to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. You will have time to relax for a while in your hotel. One of our official members will meet you and brief you about the trip. Our guide will check your gears if you allow him so he can suggest you if you need more.  If you arrive late, we will have brief session the next day. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu

Following breakfast, we will go on a day tour of the Kathmandu Valley, visiting several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath Temple (Cremation site), and Swyambhunath Temple (Monkey Temple). Our knowledgeable tour guide will accompany us on this tour. After finishing the tour we will take you back to the respective hotels in Kathmandu. Pack up and get prepared. Tikhedhunga is our first day of the trek. First, we will have morning breakfast then drive from Pokhara to Nayapul by private transport. After quick pre-trek preparation, we start to walk following the south bank of the Modi River to Birethanti. After check in formalities (ACAP Post) we will continue trek to Lamdawali, Sudame, Hile and to Tikhedhunga. In the evening, walk around the village and visit school. Overnight at the lodge.

We climb up to Ulleri right after the breakfast, following stone steps. There are few stops along the way as the views are just amazing. After climbing more than 3000 steps, we reach to Ulleri where you will have great views of Annapurna South. Then continue gentle climb up through the Rhododendron forest, we will reach to Ghorepani. If weather permits, you can climb up to Poon Hill for sunset and visit museum. Overnight at the lodge.

Today we wake up early and hike up to Poon Hill to catch the first sun over Annapurnas. After time to take photos and enjoy the sunrise we return back to the lodge at Ghorepani. Breakfast then we walk east, passing Deurali pass and Banthanti towards Thulo Odar Kharka through rhododendron forests. A steep descent and a short climb from here will finally take us to Tadapani.

Breakfast in the lodge with sunrise views over Annapurna and Machhapuchare and trek down to the valley. Following the terraced fields, and some local houses until the bridge over the Kimrong Khola. Then the trail continues further to Chomrong where we stop for lunch. After lunch the trail drops down to Jhinu Danda. Once we check into the lodge at Jhinu Danda, we will hike down to the Jhinu hot spring to take a dip into the natural hot spring. We will spend some time relaxing our tired muscles and get back to the lodge for overnight stay.

You can again go down to the Hot Spring this morning before breakfast. But this is up to you. After breakfast, we head towards the bridge across the Kimrung Khola. We will cross another New bridge across Modi River then walk through east bank of the river and following the trail parallel to the Modi River. Finally, a gentle uphill hike will bring us to the village of Landruk where you can enjoy the classic settlement, lifestyle, housing style and the culture and tradition of the Gurung people. It’s a very interesting settlement; therefore, the remaining time can be spent exploring the settlement of Landruk. Overnight at the lodge

Breakfast in the lodge and start your trek to Pothana. After an easy walk through the beautiful Oakforest, pass little village we will cross the bridge to Tolka. From Tolka, a steep stone steps will take us to Bhichok Deurali. The view of Dhaulagiri from Bhichok Deurali is just amazing. We will enjoy the view and lunch there at Deurali. Finally, we hike down to Pothana for overnight.

After breakfast in Pothana, an easy downhill walk to Dhampus which is pretty village with beautiful cultivated fields and nice hotels. From here, the trail descends towards Phedi. Phedi is a small village along the highway where we stop for the last lunch. Then we drive to Pokhara. Once at Pokhara, we will check into the hotel, freshen up and then set out to explore the lake area and the night life in Pokhara. Overnight in a Hotel.

After breakfast in Pokhara your guide will take you to the bus station to catch a bus to Kathmandu. It is the same scenic highway where you will enjoy the drive. Bus has 2 stops along the way. Finally arrive in Kathmandu, guide will assist you to the hotel. You can have sometime rest and do some shopping in Thamel. In the evening, we will meet for the dinner, where we will also discuss the overall trip, experience and the feedback. Overnight in a Hotel.
